"This March we knew we were at the end with our golden of 15 years. She had been with Long Lake most of her life and always received excellent care, but I think the real sign of their excellent care for our pup was at the end. In the final days when her life had dramatically declined they discussed all the options, were honest with, never pushed us in any direction and let us know they would support our decision. From there we did make the decision to let her pass peacefully before she declined into a worse state. The day we brought her in we were excellent cared for, seen, and loved through the extremely difficult experience. She even let us know they would sit with her after we left knowing it would be hard to leave her there after she had passed. We decided to cremate her and when we got her package back there was a plaster of her paw and hair of her. It was very kind, beautiful, and wonderful way to honor her. They also had a personally signed card with notes from the staff. For such a horrible time in our lives, they made us feel very loved and that she was captured and cared for. We couldn't be more appreciative to their staff and team in the care and thought they gave us in our time with our golden."
