"I recently brought my very sick cat to this clinic from another clinic because the other clinic had made her infection worse with a steroid injection. Dr Mey with the assistance of Justine tried to help her but she became too overcome with infection and then developed heart enlargement and complications. . We ultimately had to euthanize her within 2 weeks from the day she became mildly sick with a respiratory viral infection. She was not yet 2 yrs old. She was a totally indoor cat and we think an underlying virus she once had like feline herpes virus while in a nasty humane society downstate as a kitten who then was saved by SAFE in Clare County by a wonderful woman Connie who fostered her. I ultimately adopted her at 9 months old and she had a great life with us for 12 months until her untimely death. Dr Mey and Justine did all they could and I must mention Dr Foster who took his time to fill me in on her chest xray results while Dr Mey was busy in surgery. He was kind and took his time to discuss her situation. Sweet Luna is gone ( my little looney tunes) but never forgotten."
